Terms and place for the conference
The conference "The Urals: the Border, the Crossroads, the Meeting" will take place in a Hotel complex "AVS Hotel" situated in Respublikanskaya str. 1a, Ekaterinburg, Russia and nearby Internat-school № 126 for handicapped children placed in Respublikanskaya str. 1. Both places are in the well equipped park-forest zone at the side of Ekaterinburg where you can find many nice places for a walk in any time of the year. For today it is the cheapest hotel where the quality of the service combines with rather democratic prices. Placing in the park zone is also valuable for that usually very hot period of the year in our places.
In the disposal of the conference there will be a big hall for 150 people and five smaller rooms in the hotel and school for the conversational groups and workshops. Living in a hotel as possible in the rooms economy-class, standard, semy lux and more expensive. If you book a room yourself at the website of the hotel www.avshotel.ru you will save 10%. It is also possible to live in two-, three- and four-man rooms at school-internate. The terms are similar to the economy class rooms in a hotel, but a little cheaper. The hotel provides breakfasts, lunches, and suppers for all participants of the conference. If you stay at standard room and more expensive, breakfast is included. Lunches are included in organizational fee.
For the participants of the conference there will be organized two kinds of tourist programs:
Countryside tours of one day to the most beautiful nature places of the Middle Urals are planned for the Wednesday 24 July. Information about tourist routs you can find at the coresponding page of the site. These tours are not included in the conference fee.
Excursions around Ekaterinburg, visiting the Europe-Asia border. They take place on Saturday, 27 July, after lunch. This price is included into the conference fee.
